Scheduled Maintenance, also often referred to as Preventive Maintenance is the one thing to have done to ensure that your system is operating up to snuff, and at peak efficiency.
Preventive Maintenance can be misleading, in that your system, while being serviced regularly, may still suffer some failure. The word “preventive” only refers to maintenance performed to prevent a failure due to poor maintenance. Scheduled Maintenance is a more correct term, in that you are providing maintenance to ensure the reliability and performance of the system.

A good example is this:
You have a new or used car - you would change the oil, and have the vehicle serviced every 3000 miles or so to keep the motor in its best condition. It’s the same with a furnace or A/C.
Changing the filter at least quarterly will prevent dust and debris from getting into the system causing poor air flow and decreasing performance.
Fall cleaning and servicing of the Furnace or Air Handler will ensure that the burners, gas pressure, or heat elements are working to peak efficiency. This includes: checking for loose or poor electrical connections, thermostat operation, and blower performance.

Spring Start-up of the A/C consists of cleaning the outdoor coils to ensure maximum heat transfer to the outside, checking electrical connections, and checking refrigerant charge.
We offer several different Scheduled Maintenance Plans to accommodate almost every budget and need for our Residential customers, and Commercial as well.
